1.) Less fabric which means fewer & wider pleats (pleat depth remains true to the Sett ( repeating design) of your chosen tartan...ie; a 7" Sett width results in a 3.5" pleat depth...
2.) The lighter 11oz tartan fabric is used.
3.) The pleats, aprons & upper lining are all machine sewn.
